The Lumberg group

Manufacturing: assembly technology

Having started with the automated manufacture of connectors, Lumberg today is also achieving fully automated assembly of complex assemblies, e.g. for mobile telephones or automobile technology. Highly developed testing technologies are integrated into these processes.

Revolving automatic assembly machines in the Cloppenburg
plant, Germany
Lumberg conceptualizes, builds
and operates flexible high-speed assembly lines according to cus-tomer requests, e.g. modular in-line or revolving automatic assem-bly machines with robotics.
Process steps such as loading and processing of electromechanical and electronic components, laser welding, potting, software flashing, dosing or screen printing can be integrated into the assembly process.
Lumberg particularly pays atten-tion to testing technology such as camera and laser systems, force-deflection measurements and
high-frequency measurements, which are integrated according to customer specifications.

Based on the customer's require-ments, the assembly is carried out on the basis of the quantity struc-ture and fully or semi-automati-cally, depending on the location. Integrated testing technologies
and functional tests ensure contin-uously the high level of quality.
