Certificates are something of an award to us, since they are proof that we meet national as well as international standards. Which is why we consider a routine inspection to be more than just the mere fulfilment of our duty. Instead, it is our conviction that only continuous improvement and best practices craft Lumberg products that outperform expectations and contribute toward your customer’s satisfaction.
The independent certification of all of our production sites and our headquarters in accordance with the international EN ISO 9001/2008 quality standard proves that our quality management system is highly productive. We even meet – and are regularly audited for – Customer Specific Requirements which form an essential criterion of the IATF 16949:2016 standard that car manufacturers require from us in addition to our qualitymanagement system.
For us, the protection of the environment and our climate as well as the responsible approach to handling energy and resources constitute vital corporate goals. Our environmental and energy management system has therefore also be certified by neutral organizations (DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 and 50001:2008). When developing new products, but also when it comes to our operational and administrative process flows we make sure that their impact on the environment and the consumption of energy and natural resources remain as minimal as possible.
We even document our corporate social commitment with the introduction of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System which we established according to the OHSAS 18001 standard.
