Lumberg Welcomes Eleven New Trainees

Schalksmühle, 13.08.2024. For exactly 91 years now, the globally active manufacturer of connector and contact systems with its own development, production and headquarters has been based in Schalksmühle. Since then, well over 1,200 young people have completed training in a wide variety of professions at the third-generation family-owned company in Germany – and this year Lumberg welcomes eleven more new apprentices, seven of them at the company’s headquarters in Schalksmühle and four at its largest production factory in Cloppenburg.

At the head office in Schalksmühle, Eray Altay is starting his training as a qualified IT specialist (systems integration) and Noah Siering is starting his training as an IT system management assistant. Sina-Sophie Hering has opted for technical product design, while Natalia Maszczyk has chosen industrial management assistant as her career. In addition in Factory 1, Alexander Max Laknar and Elias Maser are training to become tool mechanics and Fynn Niklas Lakotta has chosen stamping and forming mechanics.

Carlotta Hoffmann and Aaron Brinkmann are new on board at Factory 2 in Cloppenburg, Lower Saxony, and are training to become mechatronics engineers, while Malte Schwarzer and Silas Höhne (3rd and 4th from left) are training to become industrial mechanics. Erik Preuth (left) is also completing the dozen young people starting their careers as a long-term intern.

To ensure a sound and solid professional future, the new apprentices will get to know the various specialist areas, departments and sites in regular rotation during their training, depending on the job description. In the process, they will not only learn about relevant Lumberg products, but also about working in different teams and the processes in a modern industrial company.
