Schalksmühle, 21.11.2018. The partnership between Lumberg, the owner-managed manufacturer of high-quality connectors and electromechanical components, and JIT electronic GmbH, the distributor specialized in connectors based in Bergkirchen near Munich in southern Germany, began 26 years ago. In 1970 – German television viewers were able to receive the news “Tagesschau” from ARD and “Heute” from ZDF in color for the first time in March – the first Lumberg products were listed.. Andreas Aschenbrenner, the founder of the company, which has been run as a “specialist house for connectors” since 1991, was – and still is – the first point of contact.

Lumberg honors this exceptionally long-standing and close business relationship with the “Recognition of Excellence” award, presented for the eighth time since 2012. Meike Schmidt, managing partner of the Lumberg Group, welcomed the owner of JIT Andreas Aschenbrenner together with his wife Gabriele at the Lumberg Group’s exhibition stand in Munich. Together with Christian Forner, Head of Global Sales of the Lumberg Group, and Peter Maffei, Sales Manager Global Sales Distribution of Lumberg Connect, she presented the Lumberg-Icon, exclusively polished and engraved for JIT, at the world’s leading trade fair for electrical engineering, which takes place every two years – right in front of the large colored Lumberg-Icon.
