For many years your personal contact has been Mr. Peter Bien, who as the Managing Director of Lumberg Connect GmbH and simultaneously, as the Head of Global Sales of Lumberg Group was more often than not your dedicated point of contact and negotiating partner.

We are now in the process of setting the course for the company’s future and, in line with a clear and timely arrangement for a successor, are placing the responsibility for sales in the hands of Christian Forner. Mr. Forner is 41 years old; you may know him as the head of sales for our crucial Building Technology business segment, which he has been managing successfully with his team for ten years now.

The replacement to succeed Christian Forner as Head of Building Technology and to ensure the continuity of this segment, has also been secured. Gunther Will, 50, with Lumberg for 15 years and a Key Account Manager with the Building Technology team, will be in charge of this business segment. At the same time, we have reinforced our line-up with the addi-tion of Mrs. Rahel Krämer, 29.

The heads of our business segments, such as Ralph Wenzler for Automotive and Stefan Martin for Home Appliance as well as Peter Maffei for Distribution, and Holger Kabbert in charge of Key Customer Projects plus Bernhard Burkard who is responsible for Harnessing Machines, will not be affected by this in their specific areas and symbolize our commitment to the continuity of our family business.

We are also pleased to say that we will not lose Peter Bien as a long-standing, experienced and valuable member. As an authorized signatory and member of the management, he will continue to provide his advice and support exactly where his expertise is needed.
